"I love Chattanooga, I'd like for us to have a home here"As soon as those words came out of his mouth, my heart lept into my throat. I may not be home for a while, but eventually my dream of living here with the one I love will come true. It took me leaving to really understand what the city means to me. Now every time I come home, my heart aches that I cannot stay. I love the small, independently owned shops.. the strip of bars where you're bound to run into someone you know.... the park, the museum, the aquarium, my friends, my family, the mountain............ the list just goes on and on. It would be so wonderful to be able to share my love of Chattanooga with Carson. It's also kind of wonderful to finally be able to post his name in my blog. :) Through many difficult times and an extremely rocky start, my relationship has become exactly what I thought it would be in the beginning: True Love, and for the most part, happiness. I am counting the hours until I can have everything I want in the city where I want it.
I am coming home.
