Thanksgiving

I would like to take this time to give thanks for a number of things.... since it's the day after Thanksgiving and it seems the appropriate time to do such a thing. First, I would like to give thanks for my family, who have treated me more like an adult and been far more loving this past year than ever. I'm thankful for my mother not having killed herself due to stupidity (however still needful of nagging from time to time). I'm thankful for my friends who keep my deepest, darkest secrets, and still love me for who I am and the time we spend together. I'm thankful for my cat who loves to play with cheap things like paper bags and ribbon so that I need not spend extra money for Christmas. I'm thankful for my neice and nephew who love firetrucks and Dora the explorer and could not be cuter if they were in an Anne Geddes calendar. I'm thankful that school is almost the fuck over (for the semester) so that I can sleep in peace knowing that there are no eight-page papers or crazy hard tests looming over my head. I'm thankful for my fireplace which is pretty and keeps me warm whilst watching Direct TV. I'm thankful for Direct TV. I'm thankful that I put my Christmas tree up early... it's one less thing I have to do for Christmas and it's sooooo pretty. I'm thankful for random roadtrips and one night a week drunkenness. I'm thankful for SAI and the new friends that I have made. I'm thankful for music..... without it, I would have no life. I am thankful for my new pretty green jacket which keeps me oh so warm while being oh so adorable. And finally, I'm thankful for my life.... which may suck at times... but it's interesting and keeps me on my toes.....
