I'm not sure how accurate this is...but I found it very interesting, and thought everyone should have a look!
Is God trying to tell us something??
You guys have a good day :)
Posted by michellegsfl at September 23, 2004 11:11 AM | TrackBackthats pretty dumb and somewhat insulting to the people of Florida who got hit by the hurricanes.
Posted by: James at September 23, 2004 12:37 PM1. I am not the maker of this map... I just posted it for your perusal.
2. I am in no way saying that the people of Florida deserved being hit by these hurricanes, and in fact, I have friends who live in Florida and were screwed up by the storms.
3. If you don't like what I post... don't read it.
Look of course hurricanes hit FL. It's where all the old people retire. They retire there because god places urges in there old minds that say go to FL. Then he, through the process of natural selection, blows them to heaven.
Posted by: Francoamerica at September 24, 2004 10:26 AMShawn..... you brought a tear to my eye. That was the most beautiful explanation I've ever heard. I love you, man :)
Posted by: Michelle at September 24, 2004 11:22 AMPretty interesting! I like that too. Not only do they get to see and feel lots of beautiful sun but a fun ride too! :)
Posted by: Amanda at September 24, 2004 02:00 PMhaha at the retired thing
It was to small for me to read
How pathetic. First of all morons, the only people who move to Florida to retire are old, angry, miserable assholes from the north. We do not want them here. Secondly, if you find complete and utter destruction of thousands and thousands of peoples homes and lives even remotely amusing, then all I can say is......karma's a motherfucker.
Try living through it sometime, or better yet.........imagine that perhaps your entire family has lost everything they own.
Try to imagine being there..........not anywhere near the beach mind you. I live in Chicago and there are alot more goddamned trailer parks here than I ever saw there.
Imagine losing your mother during the storm. Imagine having to go and view her body in a makeshift funeral home with generators blaring in the background and the roof half peeled off. Imagine watching your 87 year old father cry at the loss of his wife of 60 plus years.
You (and I'm not referring to the owner of this blog.....she's already given you your due) really need to think about what really goes on in the world other than just the little well-insulated pocket you happen to live in. Maybe......before you open your mouth to let such stupid shit spew forth. Good luck to you........I have a feeling that you'll need it.
I was in FL the day before Charlie and Frances hit. I was working in Orlando both times, and I know this... the news media, the Guard, and every other group that makes it their responsibility to get people the hell out of harm's way were doing their job to move people out. But people just won't leave. They never do. It's always, "It'll never happen to me, I've seen this 100 times before and I've never had a problem." Well, it's gotta happen to someone... it may as well be the idiots that have made themselves statistically available. It's a pity, but if you're gonna stay, you gotta play.
Now, on to the map issue... it maybe not politically correct (pun intended), but the point was to illustrate the possibility that God may want us to think about who we vote for based on the path that nature took through FL, not that God kills people who voted for Bush. The whole God thing is a stretch for me anyway, 'cause my God would make her point by letting a tree from one of Georgie Boy's logging camps fall on his head and crush him, making it a bit more difficult for him to get re-elected. MUCH easier than conjuring up three hurricanes IMHO.
Posted by: FreeStuffInMyPants at October 17, 2004 06:18 PMand one more reason that George is one of my favorite people...... there you go.
Posted by: michelle at October 17, 2004 11:34 PMFuck Florida. Don't live in Florida if you don't like hurricanes. If you can't handle the humor then boo fuckin hoo. Time for some pedophile jokes.
Posted by: Francoamerica at October 19, 2004 10:53 AMIf ya' reeeeeealy want pedophile jokes, Franco... let me know. Maybe we could trade some disturbing humor and get everyone's mind off of Florida.
