Busy, busy, busy

Well, the past few weeks has been very eventful.... I started to school again, which I've already ranted about, I've changed my work schedule to working my full forty hours during the weekend (which isn't as bad as it sounds, actually), I got a new phone.. yay me!, and I started rushing SAI. I'm so excited about this... I've been at UTC on and off for 7 years now, I already know and have made friends with all of the sisters, and finally I'm going to actually attempt to join. We've had lots of fun this week so far, and I can't wait to actually start learning about the group and doing stuff with them. For the first time in college, I'm actually being IN college. I'm not out partying every night and skipping classes. I'm studying, I'm putting forth effort, I'm meeting people, and I'm joining a Fraternity (yes, it's not social, it's professional... so Fraternity!!)
On top of all of this, I've gotten back into contact with all the friends I've lost over the years from either me being out of school or them having boyfriends, girlfriends, or jobs that take up too much time. I'm actually seeing my friends everyday now... all of this stuff is just blowing my mind. The way my responsibility has shifted is, as well..... I'm being uber-responsible.... no one would know this was me :D So, things continue to look up for Michelle.

Only one thing looms in my mind.... I'm constantly missing Duane so much. I think about him all the time, and it sucks that I can't see him/ talk to him as much as I would like. I guess as with all super-complicated matters, this isn't easily resolved and might continue to be a downer for a while...... but thank God all this positive stuff is going on in my life to keep my spirits up through what looks to be a long and bumpy ride.
