Every time I look at you the world just melts away
All my troubles all my fears dissolve in your affections
You've seen me at my weakest but you take me as I am
And when I fall you offer me a softer place to land
You stay the course you hold the line you keep it all together
You're the one true thing I know I can believe in
You're all the things that I desire, you save me, you complete me
You're the one true thing I know I can believe
I get mad so easy but you give me room to breathe
No matter what I say or do 'cause you're too good to fight about it
Even when I have to push just to see how far you'll go
You wont stoop down to battle but you never turn to go
Your love is just the antidote when nothing else will cure me
There are times I cant decide when I cant tell up from down
You make me feel less crazy when otherwise I'd drown
But you pick me up and brush me off and tell me I'm OK
Sometimes thats just what we need to get us through the day

~Well, I just got back from my week away. Traci and I went to Dave Matthews at Starwood ampitheater in Nashville. It was a great show... but a bit too much jamming for my taste. Then, we were off to teach band camp in small White County. The kids were awesome... and I hope they do well this year. Traci and I are planning to go back up for a football game and watch them perform. I hadn't taught in so long that I'd forgotten how great it was. I had a blast. To end my long weekend, I went to guard on Friday. We had two concerts Saturday.... and I got to see all my friends again. I always hate to leave. It feels weird to come home. But I got to spend three days with Duane, which was good. I miss him so much during the months that I don't see him. We talked a lot this weekend and got to spend quite a bit of time alone together. It was excellent. *sigh*
That was my week in a nutshell..... Everything was fabulous and now... I'm just waiting for school to start and my next guard weekend to pop up.
is that the song you sent me yesterday?
