Found some wise words on another website..... and as much as I hate those condemning street preachers, I wanted to share these scriptures with you guys. As you all know, I do not consider myself a Christian, but I just find it ironic that the very book these guys pound on the streets and scream at us from is the one that tells them not to do that crazy shit. Coincidence? I think not.
2nd Timothy 2:24. And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.
25. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth,
26. and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
James 3:17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
18 Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.
Go forth and sow in peace, my homies (oh, and don't forget you're going to burn in a fiery pit of hell for being a whoremonger ;)
And just for the Hell of it, am I the only person who thinks this is a little odd?
I am so sorry that you have been screamed at. I myself have had that experience also. But, being a Christian myself, I would have you to know this: not every Christian is like that. I do not say this in defense of the actions of some people who may go to far. I do not say this to you to convince you to become a Christian.
I DO say this to let you know that I empathize entirely with the feelings you have, and I do say this to let you know that, quite honestly, my heart pains me to know that Christians have been the cause of your pain.

And just for the record, I don't hate Christians, I just meet a lot of hypocrital people, people who are ignorant about their religions, and people who like to yell at other people (street preachers). I appreciate that you are a peace-loving, God-loving Christian and admire you for that. There aren't too many people in the world like you. I grew up a Christian and know what it's all about, so there are reasons other than the people within this religion that have caused me to change my mind about it. However, I certainly do thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness. God bless you, Carl.
